MacLean Construction is committed to playing an important role
in the community of Prince Edward Island. Since we have
been building here for over 60 years, a key philosophy of our
business is fostering a sense of community pride. Through
sponsorships, donations, employee activities and other programs,
our company supports and promotes a number of initiatives,
events and charities. MacLean Construction believes in
giving back to the Island all that it has given to us.
Encouraging Island growth is an idea very close to the heart of
our company’s beliefs and ideals. We are proud to be
involved in our community.
MacLean Construction is very proud to announce it has built the first home and
resource centre for autistic young people wishing to live outside their parent’s
home in partnership with the Stars for Life association. This is the culmination
of a 10 year dream and a donation of over $200,000 from MacLean Construction.
The home will provide the knowledge for aging parents that their children with
autism will be living happily and safely beyond their own lives.

2011, MacLean Construction established a new entrance bursary of
$750, annually benefitting a student in the College’s Carpentry
program. The first bursary will be awarded for the 2011/12 academic
year.
