 Grant MacPherson,

Manager
Grant, a professional engineer, is
also a new face in MacLean’s team and is another clear sign of a
company poised for growth. Many of the spectacular buildings
MacLean’s build are lead by local architects such as David Lopes
and Bill Chandler, but sometimes projects require more of a
design/build approach and MacLean’s are in the preparatory
stages of offering those services to complement their existing
approach. Grant worked his way through engineering school as a
labourer in home construction and became hooked on the
construction industry.
He’s estimating and project
managing and if he walks by a full garbage can, he, just like
everyone in the office, is expected to empty it. Grant is quick
to offer that he is an Islander from Long River and that he’s at
MacLean's to stay. He comments on the dramatic cedar entry way,
the stone work, the mechanical systems and the beautiful new
office environment, but like everyone else, he ends talking of
what a great spot it is to work and how much knowledge, help and
support is there for him.
